I got married 4 years ago at Treasure Island and really liked it but my brother got married last year at Planet Hollywood and that was an amazing chapel and a great photographer. I would highly recommend it!

I have a suggestion. To make it private, intimate and special, spring for the largest suite you can afford and hire a minister to have a little ceremony there. Bring your own candles, music and treats...make it your little piece of heaven. Some suites are very beautiful.

Here is a BIG hint...reserve the suite in advance and then when you check in ask to talk to the manager on duty. Let him/her know that this room will be your private ceremony and ask for a free upgrade if there is one available. People are all romantic, love to feel that on some level they have made your moment even more special, and you may be pleasantly surprised at what they will do to help you make it happen.

I did this and they not only updated the room (one for twice what we paid) but they send us a fruit/wine/cheese basket that could feed a small country. We ate on that for days.

My husband and I got married on the lake right outside of town. We could take a really close cab ride to the place. It had beautiful scenery for photos outdoors, so we didn't just have trashy stuff to look back on. We liked the thrill and intimacy of a Vegas wedding, but wanted pretty scenery. You can book way ahead and have the details arranged (I even picked all the flowers and colors in my bouquet and you can get your makeup and all done there), or it's close enough to boogie over there on a whim. I suggest that!
