Hi!!!
So here is the deal...
I am broke, broke, broke...about *this* close from maxing out my credit card as I am newly out of college with a new (and low paying) career.
My boyfriend is the best man in the entire universe. He deserves the world from me. For everything we've been through together for the past two and a half years, he has always been my #1 fan and my greatest support system.
What can I do for him next weekend for his birthday so that it's still special, even though we don't have a lot of cash?
Last year was a really cruddy birthday for him...so I don't want to do THAT over again.
Thanks in advance!

Do you have any free attractions around your area? Free concerts in the park? What about a picnic lunch together? Make him a coupon booklet. You could include things that would help him out like offering to do his laundry one week, a back massage, anything you could think up that he would enjoy. Make him a special birthday dinner.
1SweetKisses103 gave great ideas. I think cooking him dinner and making a coupon book would be a great start. Since it's summer are there any free movies (movie in the park) or other outdoor activities you can do. Even a scavenger hunt would be nice and you can make yourself the prize.
2invite him over, line the halls with candles, have some nice music in the background, candlelit dinner, dim lights
after dinner, u in some sexy lingerie, and dessert in any order ud like..
or u can go out to the lakeshore or some park for a nice picnic
basically just something romantic. with a great card that tells him how much he means to u.
3I like the scavenger hunt with you as the prize! Sexy!
Make him his favorite thing dinner. Then the scavenger hunt he might not want to be hungry for anything else but you after the hunt!
4Wow, great ideas here! I guess the point is to make HIM feel special. Don't forget a birthday cake. These are so easy to make and super cheap if you do it yourself. Balloons are cheap too. You could tape a few to the cake plate, and make a cute card out of recycled paper cut into different shapes.
5Make something for him, If you can draw, sew anything. Just make sure he knows you love him.
6it really doesn't matter what you get him as long as your there with him he would be happy. the best presents are the little things like love notes scatted around the house, or even what a girlfriends of a mates did, was leave him a little note in his lunch box of what she was going to do to him when he got home... you could imagine that he couldn't wait to finish work.
7It's the little things in live that make up for the big picture, and makes everything rewarding
Make him dinner, dress to the nines and stay in, watch a guy flick with him curled up on the couch, give him a tender massage by candlelight. Total expenditure = a normal day. How he feels = treasured. Who would want anything more?
